Owner
I opened Barkley Grange in 2012 after having a successful dog walking and pet sitting company. Dogs have always been a passion of mine, and Im incredibly lucky to own 6. All of whom come to daycare and can usually be found behind the desk in reception ‘helping’. I completed my City and Guilds Dog Grooming Qualification in 2012 and still spend time in the grooming room training our staff. I also hold a L3 IMDT Dog Trainer Qualification.
Labrador, Terrier, Sussex Spaniel
Meet my 6 dogs, Lady (Labrador, 12yrs), Barley (Labrador, 9yrs), Bee (Labrador, 7yrs), Orson (Sussex Spaniel, 6yrs), Figgy (Labrador, 2yrs) and Bob (The Terrorist! 12yrs). My dogs can often be found behind the desk after a day of playing and running with the daycare dogs.
Senior Daycare Supervisor
I’ve been part of the Barkley Grange team for 12 years, a job that allows me to balance my love for animals with raising my two daughters. Over the years I have learned as much as I can to keep your dogs safe and happy. My training and qualifications include City and Guilds Dog Grooming, Canine First Aid, Microchipping, L4 Leadership and Management.
Cocker Spaniel
Hugo started at Barkley Grange when he was just 1, he is now nearly 15. He still enjoys coming to work with me, its like his 2nd home.
Manager
As the daycare manager I bring 8 years of dedicated experience to leading our daily playgroups and ensuring a safe, structured and fun environment for every dog in our care. I have focused on continuous professional development since being here to ensure we can offer the highest standards of care. I am also the companies Certified Mental Health First Aider.
Jack Russell Border Collie Mix,
Tipsy and Doodle are the definition of ‘opposites attract’. Tipsy is 15 years and takes life in the slow lane, with a gentle potter around the fields or hunting for treats. Doodle brings the spice, the big ears and plenty of commentary. At 5 years old he is in the absolute prime of his play days, and loves running full speed in the field and chasing toys.
Senior Daycare Supervisor
I have been at Barkley Grange for 10 years, I have completed many courses along the way. I qualified as a dog trainer and have gained much experience over the years of working here. I love working at Barkley Grange, and really enjoy learning about their individual personalities and being able to create a bond with each dog, whilst watching them grow and thrive.
Cocker Spaniel, Giant Rottweiler
Meet Arlo and Koba, 8yr old Cocker spaniel and 5 year old gentle giant Rottweiler. Arlo is a pro at ball catching, Koba is more of a laid back dog and enjoys his time snoozing on the sofa. They both enjoy the long walks around the farm.
Senior Daycare Supervisor
I’ve worked at Barkley Grange for over 6 years and have gained numerous qualifications in dog behaviour, health and wellbeing. Im particularly passionate about helping nervous dogs feel safe, build their confidence and enjoy their time at daycare. I also run our Enrichment program, creating fun and engaging activities for the dogs, as well as managing our social media.
Jack Russell Poodle Cross, Cyprus Rescue
Loki my Jack Russel cross is 9 and will pull out all his tricks for a treat! I also have two Cyprus rescue girls Binx and Delta who have been a challenge but so rewarding to train.
Daycare Assistant
I started at Barkley Grange in August 2023. I am incredibly fond of dogs and animals and have been since a young age. I have never not had a dog by my side so they are a very integral part of my life. I am also a semi- professional wildlife photographer in my spare time and have a qualification in animal care.
I hope to learn and increase my knowledge in my time at Barkley Grange and really look forward to making sure everyday for the dogs is the best day it can be.

I started an apprenticeship with Barkley Grange in 2024 as I saw it as an opportunity to begin my career working with and looking after all kinds of dogs. I have since qualified and become a daycare assistant! In my time, I have come to learn endless amounts about dog behaviour and continue to learn more everyday.
Baxter
Groomer / Daycare Assistant
Tia started her grooming career with us in 2025 and is building on her knowledge in the grooming room. Tia is working her way up through the grooming qualifications and gained ‘Student of the Month’ with her training provider KEITS, because of her hard work and dedication.
Cocker Spaniel
Nova is a 1year old cocker spaniel, she loves coming to daycare and spending time with her friends.
Daycare Apprentice
Erin started at Barkley Grange in 2025 as a daycare apprentice. Erin is becoming a pro at providing extra enrichment for our dogs. Erin can often be found taking a dog on a ‘Sniffari’ or helping them hunt for hidden treats in the cardboard fortress.
Malitpom
Cookie is a black Maltipom who is full of energy and personality! She is very sassy and always knows how to get her own way, but she also has the sweetest and most caring nature. Cookie absolutely loves people and enjoys being around everyone she meets.
